How is Slime Runners different from other platformers?

It differs from the rest of the platformers in the fact that as you progress through the game you will have to use the skills learned in creative ways to overcome the extremely difficult levels, being levels 11 and 12  the most difficult. As if all that wasn't enough, there's a game mode that challenges you to pass all the levels in a row without dying. Can you complete 100% of the game?

The web version deletes a lot of post-processing and quality features. I highly recommend downloading the game for better graphics and performance.

STORY

Pete is a very curious and scaredy slime. One day, he went on a treasure hunt when, all of a sudden, he looked at a very cool rock (it was very cool tbh...). When  he attempted to pick that giant rock up, a water stream flowed along a very big cave. Can Pete escape from the cave and gather all of the treasures before he dies mixed with the water?

The game will contain 12 unique levels in the level selector, 3 Sectors that will held the story of the game and one final gamemode called "THE SLIME RUNNER" in which you will need to beat all of the levels in order without dying. The game has also 8 free skins that you can unlock just by playing the game

It's very difficult. I didn't get far but there was a seemingly blind guess/troll jump with multiple paths where only one was correct, I rage quit after that lol. The difficulty would be more tolerable if it restarted the level instead of sending you back to the menu when you died. You can also negate the 'heart attack' gimmick by holding both left and right at the same time.

The premise is nice. The difficulty would be nice if there wasn't the wall of water coming. It is already hard enough. The difficulty curve is just not well balanced. There is a stutter at the beginning of every level that made me fail the first jumps multiple times. having to go back to the menu every time was annoying too. Still fun cuz hard

I will make a post-jam version soon making changes in the difficulty and the water system to make it easier for everyone aswell as fixing every bug. Thanks form playing my game! :)
